Cook/Kitchen

Position: Cook

A Cook is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food items in a clean, safe, and fun environment. This position ensures that all menu items are made according to food safety standards and Altitude’s quality expectations. The Cook works closely with the management team to maintain an organized and efficient kitchen that enhances the guest experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and serve food items in accordance with Altitude recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food preparation, storage areas, and kitchen equipment.
  • Follow all food safety guidelines and local health regulations.
  • Properly label, store, and rotate food to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed throughout the day.
  • Assist with inventory management and communicate shortages or equipment issues to management.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Support other team members and contribute to a positive, energetic workplace.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly attitude toward guests and coworkers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Previous food service or kitchen experience preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices required.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a warm kitchen environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to the Altitude brand experience.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
